How to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time, free of charge, by any of the following:

Please include the name and phone number you used when you contacted us, so we can find the right record. We may ask one further question to confirm the request is genuinely yours — this protects you from someone else deleting your records.

What we delete

On request we delete the personal information collected through this website and our messaging channels, including:

• Your name, phone number, email address and any age you provided
• The enquiry or appointment request you submitted, including any dental concern you described
• Marketing attribution data associated with your enquiry (referring page, campaign identifiers, advertising click IDs)
• WhatsApp messages exchanged with the clinic, and any files you sent us through that channel
• Your contact details held in the clinic's appointment and follow-up records

What we may have to keep, and why

We will tell you plainly if anything cannot be deleted. There are two situations where that applies:

• Clinical records. If you have been examined or treated at the clinic, dental records must be retained for the period required of a registered dental practitioner in India. These exist to protect your continuity of care and are not used for marketing. They are not deleted on request, and no clinic that offers to delete them is acting properly.
• A minimal suppression record. If you ask us never to contact you again, we keep only enough information to honour that — otherwise a future enquiry could reintroduce your details. This is kept solely to respect your wishes.

If you have never been a patient — for example you only submitted a website enquiry or messaged us — there is no clinical record, and everything above is deleted.

How long it takes

We acknowledge deletion requests within 7 working days and complete them within 30 days. You will receive confirmation once it is done, including a note of anything retained under the exceptions above and the reason.

Data held by third parties

Some services process data on our behalf or under their own terms. Deleting your data with us does not automatically delete it from them:

• WhatsApp / Meta: message delivery is handled by Meta. Deleting messages from our systems does not remove them from your own device or from Meta's infrastructure. See Meta's own privacy tools to manage that.
• Google: if analytics or advertising tools are enabled, usage data is processed under Google's policies and can be managed through your Google account.
• Email: a copy of your original enquiry may exist in the clinic's email inbox; this is included in the deletion we perform.

Your other rights

Alongside deletion, you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct anything inaccurate. Use the same contact routes above. See our privacy policy for what we collect and why.

If you are not satisfied

Contact the clinic first at kianshdentalstudio@gmail.com — most issues are resolved quickly. You retain the right to escalate to the appropriate data protection authority in India.
